Life is Short

Today after work I had to go to a visitation. A woman that I work with lost her step son last week. He was a 21 year old kid who died too young because he was driving too fast on his motorcycle. Its heart breaking, not only because he was so young but also because they are so many motorcycle accidents in Pensacola.

I hate going to funerals, visitations, wakes, whatever. I tend to be an overly emotional person, so needless to say I don't do too well in these types of situations. I have attended various types of these events as a family member, friend, or in support of significant others and friends/co workers. For some reason, it doesn't seem to matter if I was close to the person or if I never even met them I still have the same reactions.

I digress, the point of the post is to remind that life is too short. We never know what tomorrow holds.
