Mrs. Jetplane has been a bad girl...

I went to Target yesterday during my lunch hour and I spent $55. There I said it, its out in the open the spending fast has been broken. I feel so ashamed, no that's actually a lie, I don't feel ashamed but I suppose I should.

I went there to buy Baby C a little cotton onesie that I'm going to have embroidered with her initials on it, that was the plan at least. Mama J adores brown and pink so I found this adorable 100% long sleeve striped onesie (they live in Chicago, so its cold up there).

Well then I found a pair of J.Crew inspired peep toes for $8.00 clearance, so I bought them. I'll take a pic because I can't find them online. I mean come on $8.00, they are practically giving them away right?

Then I went to home decor and they had their seasonal home decor 30% off and I had to buy a set of these (well they were the only ones left). They are going in the guest bathroom, which is nautical/beach looking.

Oh and I also bought a set of t-shirt sheets in lime green. The master bedroom is navy, white, and hints of lime green. Mr. Jetplane has t-shirt sheets on his bed in Texas and says he wanted them at home. So we'll see how it goes, if I don't like them, well they'll get put to use on the air mattress.

I'm kinda a sheet snob, and I require them to be really soft. I personally enjoy an all white bed, but soon learned after we moved in together, that wouldn't be in the plan for us. You see Mr. Jetplane's body emits some weird stuff in his sleep and he literally stains the sheets. My beautiful high thread count white sheets, I bleach the crap out of them but it got to be really annoying. My mom said it was metals and impurities in his skin, I don't know what it was other than totally disgusting.

So I'll give you the update on the t-shirt sheets. I have to admit, while they do keep me warm, they remind me of shacking up with my old college boyfriend, he had jersey sheets.

So there... My shopping is all out in the open. But I promise to be good the rest of the month....

I want to see a pic of the shoes... I might have to venture to a Dallas Target and see if they have any. J Crew shoes are the best, but they are a little $$$.

I LOVE TARGET! It's like it sucks you in and pulls money right out of your wallet and when you walk away, you have no idea what just happened :)

Hey it sounds like it was all calling your name. I dislike taking care of tshirt sheets. After a few washes they show their wear. I am a sheet snob too though.

As far as I'm concerned, Mrs. J, spending only $55 at Target is a fine accomplishment. Well done. I don't think I've ever gotten out of there under $100.

Ah I went there yesterday, too! They had all of their cute Christmas PJs and active wear on sale, so I scooped up a bunch of stuff for dirt cheap. Oh Tarjay, how I adore you.

oh girl I'm right there with you! It never fails if I buy one thing in Target it turns into like 10 things and I've spend way more than I should have!!! Target is my drug!

I want to go to Target soooo bad. By the time I make it home, it will have been a year!

And t-shirt sheets are pretty nice. Some wash and wear better than others. I love ours!

Target is the death of me too! :( I love those towels though. I got some sick deals on some plates there for my new place and before you know it I was at like $150. Gosh. Glad I'm not the only one with a problem!

You weren't THAT bad... I mean it is Target afterall, and everyone knows that Target cannot be avoided. I seriously will make excuses to go to that store. ;)

Well, it sounds like you found some good deals if you got all that for $55. I definitely wouldn't worry about it.

Ooh,I really like those towels! And the other girls are right, $55 is not that bad at Target! You could have done A LOT more damage! And shoes for $8!? Come on, that's awesome!
