Free at Last...

The Jetplanes house guests left this morning. I was in the shower, so I didn't get to say good bye, but Mr. Jetplane assures me that they said "thanks". He spent the next 30 minutes cleaning house before he left to work out.... he's quite a man, that man of mine. love him...

We tried to go out to eat last night to a Thai place but we found out its closed on Mondays, is that weird?

Moving on.... Mrs. Jetplane is swearing off shopping for the rest of the month because her commission report for March was craptastic to say the least.... the very least. It was bad.... My commission is based upon my accounts billings for the month and the clients payments for the month. My billings look fairly normal right now, but my payments are LOW... anyway, I have stop spending money... which sucks because I have great BR coupons burning a hole in my pocket and Mrs. Nonsense posted her BR shopping spree and I want that shift dress she bought... (this is me stomping around....)

Anyway, I have a couple random thoughts that I wanted to throw out there for people....

1. Is it weird to salt food before even tasting it? It could be salty already right? How do you know it 'needs' salt?

2. Did anyone watch the Hills? What's wrong with LC's makeup at her party? Heidi and LC should win an Emmy for their 'performance'. Spencer and his flesh covered beard, looks to have parted ways....

3. Has anyone heard of Berry Wine? We drove to 4 different stores looking for Berry Wine... The only berry wine I know is Boone's Farm, but I was told that's not it. They finally found some Blueberry Merlot at the Winn Dixie liquor store, I chose not to drink it.

Happy Tuesday... and a big THANK YOU to all your support these last few days. XOXO

I agree, The Hills was a little over dramatic last night!!

Berry Wine?? I'm intrigued...you'll have to update when you find it!

My husband used to put pepper on EVERYTHING before he tasted it and I always thought it was weird until I ate his Mother's cooking for a regular period of time. She doesn't use salt or pepper or any spices for that matter...bland bland bland. But I do think it is weird to season food before you taste it. The only exception is if you always get the same thing at a restaurant for instance and know that it will need salt. But still...come on.

I've never had Berry Wine before but a friend bought us Sweet Pea Wine...we have not tried it. Not brave enough for that haha!

LC's lipstick is what was wrong! Holy trainwreck, I guess she was going for the twilight-vampire look....haha and I think I'm guilty of salting food before tasting it, but I love salty food!

I could not even focus on the show because of the red lipstick. White makeup on Heidi and Lauren, and the red lipstick....the red lipstick.....no lip color at all on Heidi, and the red lipstick. Oh did I mention the red lipstick. I threw away any thing remotely red from my Vera cosmetic bag this morning.....

I'm so glad that your house guests are out of your hair! Time to relax!

Your hubby is too sweet for cleaning up. You have a good one...

I'm sorry your money flow is sucky! I hope this economy turns around soon. It's really hurting everyone.

I DID watch the Hills..and I was thinking the same thing about Lauren's makeup. Ick...

Biggest pet peeve ever : PEOPLE SALTING THEIR FOOD BEFORE THEY TASTE IT! My ex did that, it was insulting and completely unnecessary! {Can you tell I am angry?!}
Didn't see The Hills... but I must see this Emmy award winning performance.

Never had Berry Wine.

{Oh, as for the Thai place being closed on Mondays - it sorta seems to be the trend as far asian restaurants... strange!}

Glad you are FREE AGAIN!

I totally agree about Lauren's make up. She looked horrible! I thought last night's episode seemed VERY scripted. I mean I'm sure they all are but last night was really bad!

Lauren's makeup was ATROCIOUS. I see she was going for a 20's theme, but that was an epic failure.

What is berry wine? Never heard of it, but it sounds kinda good, esp if it is a non-Boone's Farm type.

Dang, I missed the Hills, but I'm hoping to watch the Webisode here in a few minutes! I'm so excited. I LOOOVE it.

I have the flesh colored beard. Ugh! Good riddance, I say!

If it makes you feel better I salt a lot of things before I even taste them. No pepper just salt. I am not trying to be rude either. I was raised that way.

If you still lived in Indy I'd offer to let you borrow the shift! It is actually a good length for my height, but needs to be nipped in at the waist. Hopefully the tailor won't cost more than the dress.

And I enjoy Boone's, which is totally trashy but whatever. It reminds me of my pre-21 days of sitting on someone's porch and having 'Boone's Farm Wine Tasting' night. Oh yeah, we were classy!

I salt everything. I don't care if I just watched you drop a salt lick in it while cooking.

I missed the Hills. But don't you worry.. it's DVR'd for my viewing pleasure later this week. I do love their drama!!

How come all my pre-21 college stories all contain the sentence "we were drinkin' boones".. talk about a blast from the past!

I just downloaded both episodes of The Hills. Thanks for the heads-up. I completely forgot...it's my guilty pleasure. Um, ya, Lauren's makeup wasn't working for her that night. The lipstick was too dark. Can someone poke Spencer in the eyes, please?
Glad you have your hubby all to yourself again.:-)

I love berry wine, but haven't seen any in awhile!! But in all fairness I was raised to believe that drinking from a box shows confidence and class ;)

If you're feeling REALLY ambitious you could brew your own berry wine:

Glad your house guests are gone!!
