My Life Right Now

As some of you may have seen in my recent tweets, the Jetplanes brought this into our lives as of Sunday.






The first morning we did it, someone that it was a good idea to eat breakfast 15-20 minutes before she worked out. It was a VERY bad idea.


I'll be completely honest here....I down right loathe working out. My husband LOVES working out. He sometimes does it 2x a day because he thinks it....get this...fun. (Yeah I know).


Anyway, I decided that we needed to do it. We're going on a week long boat trip later this month with some of his ol frat brothers and we need to be comfortable in swimsuits for a week.


So last night we did our 2nd day on Level 1. (Yes, I refused to do it on Monday, sue me. Mondays you can't really get me to do much at all after work...deal with it.)


So Day 2 was WAAAY easier than day one, and the evening workout vs. morning I think helped as well.


But let me tell you... I'm sore...really sore. My thighs hate me right now, which is totally fine since I've always hated them and I'll be happy to see them go.

That all being said, the video so far is good. Mr. Jetplane said he was surprised at the quality of the workout for only 20 minutes.


Jillian is really annoying... and I hate her ankle tattoo of an angel of whatever it is....I stare at it through the whole workout. It also bothers me that it looks like her pants are going to fall down the entire time.


But we're gonna keep at it. Wish us luck...

I think I want to buy this for when I am all healed up. It sounds like a great compliment to my running regimen. I hate going to the gym in the summer...and this would keep me in shape.

Jillian HATES me!!!! I want to stick with it, but everytime I do it I can't walk the next day! I haven't made it two days in a row yet! Good luck:)

I sooo tried to do this before the wedding, and the whole thing just makes me want to kill myself. I'm not really one for having orders barked at me, so maybe that was the dealbreaker. Anyway, good luck and can't wait to hear about the results!!

There are times when I do this that I want to yell at her to "shut up!" It is a good workout, though, so I grin & bear it.

I love/hate this video! I did it for 30 days straight give or take a few days. I could tell a huge difference. I was much more toned. Since then I have slacked off, but need to pick it back up. I don't like to work out for very long which usually means my workouts aren't that beneficial. But I feel like I get a lot out of this. Keep it up and you will see a difference!

I have been trying to get "shredded" too. Definitely sore for a few days. I just started her Banish Fat dvd, talk about kicking your butt for 40 minutes!

I too find her annoying and wish she'd pull up her pants but she does work you out that for sure.

Today will be day 5 for me on the Shred. It is still hard and I am still sore. Going to do 10 days of each level so I don't have to worry about going to Level 2 yet. It seems really hard!!! GOOD LUCK!

I hate working out too! At least your husband will do it with you, I really think thats the key! I have it, and dread doing it because I know how hard it is going to be. And the next day is the worst!

I'm exactly the same way on Mondays...I refuse to move.

But the other days...fine. I have been Shredding for a while now...but I don't do it everyday. I get bored. I shoot for 3X a week. I'm up to level 2 and it was a nice change. Harder...but nice.

Haha! It seems like every time I do this video I find something else that annoys me. Tattoo? Check. Pull up your damn pants? Check. The way the girl on the left cheats about half way through? Check. Keep it up :)

i actually love the shred. hate jillian though. and her man voice.

have you ever noticed on level one when she's doing the butt kicks that she almost falls? it's when they're showing a side view. makes me laugh every single time. i wish she'd fall for real.

I just ordered this dvd! It should be here in a few days and I'm somewhat nervous to start it. I hate working out so I'm just hoping I can motivate myself to do it.

OMG! I was doing this video before a trip and recently started doing it again to get in shape for my wedding.

The first week I thought I was going to die. I still am too scared to start on Level II.

Stick with it though!

That ankle tattoo is annoying. Just wait till Level 2 when she says things like "I want to make you gargle your heart"...um, scary. Also, in level 2, she wears this purple sports bra that doesn't work so well for her. I was pretty sure her left boob was gonna make a run for it at any second.

I loved what the Shred did for my body, but I fell off the band wagon a week or so through level 2 because it was too hard on my knees. = (

I started the Shred about 3 weeks ago - I am still on level one as I've trapped a nerve in my sacro-illiac joint (OW - not due to the DVD but climbing out the car). I haven't noticed any difference but to be honest I have become addicted to Port Salut cheese.

The Shred kicks my butt too. It seriously is a great work out even if it is tough. :) Good luck and your hubs is crazy to love working out so much :)

I'm on Day 10. Day 1 was the longest 20 minutes of my life! But by day 7, I was ready to move up to Level 2. I have been doing L2 for 4 days now and I actually think it's more fun than Level 1. I HATE to work out, but 20 minutes makes it easier to swallow.

If you hate her pants in Level 1, just wait until you see her boobs making a break for it in Level 2!

I love it! Ugh I HATE working out too but for 20min a day I feel like I don't have an excuse! Still haven't made it past 4days in a road but crossing my fingers for this week haha
