Missing Mr. Jetplane

He's been gone a little over a week and we're getting along pretty well. I miss him, I always do when he's gone, but today we said goodbye and we won't be able to talk until late Thursday night.
Picture taken in a very pink elevator while in Vegas... Love him... he is just so cute...

That's right Mr. Jetplane is 'camping' out in the woods for a few days. Its not really camping, that's just what I tell myself show I don't worry about him. This is the portion of training where people lose 5-10 lbs since they are eating 'food'. I know I'm way more worried about it than he is. You want to know his only concern...his feet. And I'm concerned about his health, well being, and of course he knee that he has surgery on in December.
I know I shouldn't complain, I'm a mil wife and being away for 24 days is nothing in the big picture. I know I have to keep reminding myself that all this is preparing me for a future deployment. I gotta keep it all in perspective....

Hope everything is having a good weekend so far.

I'm off to drink my Sophia that is chilling in the fridge...

Thursday will get here real fast! It is okay to worry, as long as you don't let it overwhelm you. Have a great night with your wine, and some good TV movie!!

My ex went through 4 Survival Trainings and later he was one of the, I guess you can call them "leaders" or Trainers, so I heard about what they go through to "survive" ...anyway, if after Thursday your husband isn't humbled after "survival camp", then he is one tough cookie. LOL
Hang in there! :-)

My dad went through the training your Mr is doing now. It was very interesting to hear about later. I know you worry, but at least it's a controlled environment. And being apart sucks, deployment or not. I got all upset and teary eyed about leaving Mark for 5 days, even after we had spent 20 months apart.

I understand! My hubs went to survival in May, but had to come home for a family emergency. So now, we will be traveling back in November. I am dreading it all over again...
