Hi! My name is Mrs. Jetplane and I have a problem...

And here she is... I am addicted to television and my DVR is probably one of my top 5 favorite things in this world. It became all too apparent on Monday night when I had to hurry inside from doing yard work to ensure that the DVR would record all the new Monday night line up...Hello How I Met Your Mother started...

Only to realize that with Monday Night Football (Go Colts!!) I was going to have to delete my pre scheduled recording of Gossip Girl and have to make some additional choices about what was more important to me (or Mr. Jetplane in certain cases).

I know I have a television addiction and I almost refuse to watch 'new' shows for fear of liking them and then having to make time to watch them... like Eastwick and Modern Family...I watched them both...Wednesdays aren't that big of TV night, except for Top Chef.

I know I can't be the only one suffering from this... Thursdays are going to be difficult as well... Grey's!?!

Anyway, I'm not the only one in the house that loves TV, Mr. Jetplane does as well. So much so that he purchased a new television to fill in the gigantic hole above the fireplace in our new house for the downstairs living area. I'll admit I HATE this hole...I feel like these holes are shrines to televisions. And I'm all for loving my television but I don't need it to honored like a Buddha or something...That being said our new TV will fill it up so it won't look so weird. Right now we have our television from our bedroom in it.

Mr Jetplane is so excited about this new flat screen television...you'd think it was a new puppy. Its supposed to be delivered on Friday and he literally won't shut up about it. Sometimes I feel like his loves go in this order... Charlie, his big screen TV, his truck, and then Me... I know I know... I at least come before his TV... But he does love that dog something fierce...

Happy Thursday all... I promise to try to post some house pictures later tonight or tomorrow...

Yeah, now that all the premiers started this week I find myself glued to the TV last night. LOVE the Monday night Line up and fell in love with Modern Family last night. Grey's starts in t-minus 13 hours and I can't wait!

I know what you mean, programs on NBC and ABC can be watched on their websites, which is what I end up doing for those channels, I don't have cable or a dvr, so usually I can catch other shows online or when they air.

Girlie, Wednesday night tv should be reserved for Glee. It's my new fave! Even B loves it (well, love is a strong word, but he sits next to me willingly!). You simply must try it next week!

It's funny that I don't watch ANYTHING on Monday nights. I'm just not a fan of GG (horror!). We usually catch up on our DVR that night!

I recorded Eastwick, but haven't watched it yet. I loved Cougar Town. It's the best new show so far. I have two DVRs. I'm thankful since Thursdays are going to be madness. (Vampire Diaries, Grey's, Private Practice, The Mentalist, Project Runway)

I had to prioritize my DVR this week as well!I went through to hit up the new shows I wanted recorded and I flinched when I hit record, hoping it wouldn't pop up with a conflict! SYTYCD fall season is throwing a wrench into things!

I'm totally addicted to TV. My DVR is working overtime now that all these good shows are back on!

Oh, girl you just read my mind. I almost think I need a 12 step program for this addiction. I also feel that I now have too many shows that I like and want to watch that I need to create a schedule for them all. That would be really pathetic, so I don't do it, but then get really upset when I miss something (aka Top Chef last night.)

Congrats on your new television and all the home improvement projects and updates.

I know what you mean! There's so many great shows on tv I'm overloaded with choices. It's like all of my shows this season have moved around and are on at the same time! I've been having a hard time figuring out what to watch! Can't wait for Grey's though!

Men and their tv's. I think the holes are supposed to be an easy fix to wall mounting a tv. If I recall, people generally hire out for professional wall mounters for the flat screens. Our TV stand is so ugly I wish we had a hole to put it in! hahaha

we gave up DVR and digital cable for my crossfit cert. I'm going a little crazy.

Yup, I have an addiction to TV as well. If you find a solution to this problem, please let me know :)

Modern Family was pretty funny, Eastwick, just okay. I am somewhat of a tv addict, so I can relate.
Happy tv watching. :-)

I know someone who bought a really nice painting to fit in their "hole in the wall" above the fireplace and it looks REALLY nice. And I also know someone who had a nice piece of 3D artwork done for that hole.
