What to Wear...

Mr. Jetplane will be graduating from flight school in June. The graduation will be a formal affair and require a more formal gown, but that being said, Mrs. Jetplane is counting her pennies right now due to future trip to Vegas (30th day/2 yr anniv trip) and upcoming move and potential home purchase in IDAHO.

I wanted something cute but nothing that looks too "promy" or "mother of the bride". Also, nothing too slutty, some of the dresses women tend to wear at these things are at times borderline street walking attire. My goal is to always be classic and timeless, so I could wear the dress again if needed. But also I also want the dress to stand out and be different from the sea of silk, taffeta, and black.

What to see what I came up with...

Dress can be found here.

Let's hope we don't have a repeat of the horror that was my last dining out experience.

Gorgeous! Great choice. I'm always amazed at the "dresses" some wives think are appropriate.

Love it!! And as one who attended that exact graduation dinner a little over 3 years ago, I think that's a perfect choice!! Good luck in Idaho, by the way...the friends we have who were stationed there LOVED it :)

As in my FAVORITE place in Idaho? MH? I LOVE BOISE! No joke, we have talked about retiring there. The people are SO friendly, and you can get a LOT for your money house wise, in comparison to here anyway. We made the mistake of looking at the "House for Sale" magazines when we were there (Hubs worked with the Air Force there a lot), and for what we paid for our stupid house out here, we could've had 5 bedrooms, Viking appliances, and a media room in Boise. BOOOOO Washington! YEAH IDAHO! You also get warm weather and minimal snow.
