Fellow Travelers
Air Kisses to You All..
I guess its kinda funny for me to ask for a cookbook from his family since, his mother, stepmother, sister, and sister-in-law, all don't really cook. When Mr. and I started dating I asked him what his favorite meal was, because I would cook it later that weekend. He told me Hamburger Helper....yeah ladies that's what I was dealing with.
But I digress, the cookbook is very interesting. Its not just a cookbook, it let's you into Ree's and Marlboro Man's lives. When Mr gave it to me, I sat in the chair and read the whole thing that night, I've never 'read' a cookbook.
I'm excited to get to cooking...Mr. Jetplane loves all the food I've made from her blog. Mr. Jetplane is a meat and potatoes type of guy, but he will eat (and like) other types of food.

Ohhhh I got this for Christmas, too, and I totally read it all in bed one night. I cannot WAIT to make some of her yummy recipes!
I LOVE Ree's blog. Woo-hoo for getting the cookbook!
I want that cookbook so bad! I can't wait to see what you fix!
I love the cookbook! I read it from front to back as well. I'm excited to start cooking.
I got her cookbook for Christmas, too. And I definitely read the whole thing and enjoyed it! We made her pot roast for New Year's Eve and it was delicious, as always!
I made the fancy macaroni and cheese that she posted just before New Years. Expensive and well worth it. I don't care for goat cheese on it's own, but was wonderful in this dish. I am on the waiting list at QVC for my cookbook. Jealous!
PS I wanted you to know from your pictures last year, that the best present I got this year, was a yellow purse. I hunted and hunted till I found one close to yours. I have been carrying your picture for comparison for about 6 months around. Whatch Cooking lately?
I would love to get her cookbook too but my shelf is already emploding under all the cookbooks I already have haha. I do <3 her blog also!
Definately start using your stand mixer more, once you do you'll find lots of stuff you never thought you would use it for!
I got this for Christmas, too, and I love it! I've already made a couple recipes, and my favorite is the olive cheese bread. YUM!
Not sure if it is in the cookbook...but I know it is in the blog. Her apple dumplings are to die for.
I've been wanting that cookbook!! It looks fantastic, and I've heard so many good things about it!
I want the PW cookbook!
I've heard of that cookbook!!! Hope you enjoy it!
Love Ree's book! She's an intriguing woman.
Thanks for dropping by and leaving such a thoughtful comment!
Your pug reminds me of the pug we once had, Smeagol, when we were stationed in Arizona. We had to give him away at 4 months because he'd get way too excited around babies and would jump on them and scratch them. That freaked me out since I was pregnant with Charlie. I'm still sad about it.
