I was shocked when I read this on Twitter this morning... I had Tiger Beat posters of Corey Haim all over my bedroom closet door, I was never a Corey Feldman type of girl. He shared the door with Christian Slater, Johnny Depp, and River Phoenix... oh if River Phoenix would have lived...just think about the roles he would have played...tear..tear..

I'm so sad that his life ended in such a tragic way. I know his drug abuse and addiction issues have been well documented. And I admit I did watch "The 2 Coreys" on A&E, but I had hoped he'd be able to turn it out.

In my eyes he'll always be Les Anderson from License to Drive.

Can someone please explain to me the interest in taking naked pictures of yourself? Especially when you are a teenager and a 'famous' teenager at that?

I also don't get the sexy looks that teenagers (including Miley) give the camera and then post these ridiculous pictures. I've seen my cousin's facebook page, she's 17...I don't get it.

But HEY!!! Miss High School Musical girl... this one's for you... seriously girl this is the 2nd time in under a year...keep your damn clothes on, or at least don't take pictures of yourself...

Crazy Story- At my previous job we fired a guy that I supervised. I wanted him gone for months but my boss wouldn't fire him. Finally he did some very bad things and we got his ass canned. But whatever... I ended up having access to his inbox so I could monitor incoming emails from clients since he wasn't working with us any longer. I had to go through his inbox to ensure that he had followed up with all his work since he was doing a poor job in his day to day activity.

Guess what I found on his computer.... Emails from some girl who sent him naked pictures of herself. And guess what this scumbag had done.. He emailed those pictures to some of the other guys at work...I was completely and utterly disgusted. I'm so glad we was finally fired...

Take that as a warning girls...send naked pics of yourself...they take on a life of their own and guys will send them to other people... whether your famous now or not...

It makes me sick to my stomach to read statistics showing that around 40% of teens think that Rhianna deserved to get beat up and that this type of violence is 'normal' in a relationship. That 40% includes girls.

Excuse me... what the hell are you talking about?

I watched Oprah's special about this yesterday. I wanted to physically shake the girl that thought Rhianna deserved it because its alleged that she hit Chris Brown. So what if she did slap him once or twice, he could have subdued her, kicked her out of the car, or whatever. Beating the crap out of her where is has bruises all over, was not called for or legal for that matter.

And now she's back with him... what does this say. It saddens me and scares me that kids think its ok.

While I have never been physically abused by a boyfriend, I did date one that was extremely controlling and tried to tell me that I was nothing without him. Luckily, he dumped me because I didn't adhere to his 'rules' the way I was suppose to. The next girl he dated (whom he cheated on me with, who was supposed to have been my friend) it was rumored that he did hit her. I can see him doing that, he had a very bad temper. Oh... and this was all during my sophomore year of high school. I count myself as lucky to get out of that relationship.

I really think it leads to parents taking a more active role in their children's lives. These poor girls have low esteem and think at some level they deserve this. Love doesn't hurt and it doesn't leave bruises. If they'll hit you once, they will hit you again. Don't fool yourself. Be Smart.

Just wondering why you left the house last night in this. It has to be one of the ugliest things I've ever see before. Did your mom make it? If so, that explains a lot.





Why do you do this to yourself? Don't even get me started on your dance routine outfit... You either do crazy short or crazy tight, there is no middle of the road for you.

With being crazy busy at work and having 4, count em 4, projects due this week I got home late last night and was starving. I heated up a bowl of leftover pasta and popped in a piece (ok 2 pieces) of garlic bread and went to town. I love my carbs.

The rest of the night was like this:

1. Catching up on blogs and trying to comment.

2. Ate a bowl of cut strawberries, with a few mini marshmallows, and a drizzle of chocolate syrup (aka my new favorite dessert) while watching the Biggest Loser. Is it weird that I always eat when I watch this show?

3. Watched the Real Housewives of the OC and was disgusted with some of the behavior by Tamara and Vicki. Tamara stop being jealous and where can we buy your husband "amazing" tequila that has been successful during this "difficult economic times". Vicki, you are a ridiculous person. You are so involved in your kids' lives but you didn't know that she wanted to join the Army... interesting that she's not now. Also, Gretchen wants attention.... Hello? If that's not the pot calling the kettle black. And Gretchen, while your relationship has been questioned my heart does go out her and his family. If I was in her shoes, I wouldn't have left his side, but we don't know exactly what was going on?

4. Stayed up late and watched the Real Housewives of NYC. Yeah! These bitches are awesome. Its going to be an exciting year. I about fell out of my seat, when I saw the house they rented in the Hamptons.

I'm shocked and totally confused by this woman. I don't know if I'm suppose to pity her, be concerned for her mental state, or be upset with her.

So Mrs. Jetplane can't really talk about what she does on a platform such as this and I really wish I could. The projects that I work on our confidential and the conversations that I have with people concerning said projects are confidential. Most of the times, the projects while intellectually demanding, can be down right BORING. But every once in a while, I get a project that is extremely relevant to the gossip loving, clothes whoring, reality television loving self of Mrs. Jetplane. And a project like that came in yesterday.

Times are tough right now in the American workplace, but I am so incredibly thankful that my company (while we did layoff several people after Thanksgiving) is currently thriving with projects. I have successfully closed 3 projects this month, my goal is 5 a month and I can see that actually happening.

The past few months have been hard all around, but I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I am grateful for the opportunity to keep working at my job from home when we move. It would not be pleasant to have to look for a job in this economy. And for all of you out there who are, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I have been there and it can be tough.

I was laid off from my last job in Indy, and literally was on unemployment for 6 months. It was incredibly hard to find a financially comparable job when I moved to Florida to be with Mr. Jetplane. But I stuck it out and started my new job literally the week my unemployment ran out. And let me tell you, my unemployment from Indiana was not much at all. Thank God I had a substantial saving to live off of.

Word to the wise, save money while and when you can. There will come a time, when you will need it.

Back to Work....

FYI - I swear the tofu recipe doesn't taste like tofu. I hate health food, I can't eat frozen WW meals and fat free cheese. I wouldn't eat this if it tasted like tofu. Mr. Jetplane wouldn't eat it if it did either.

But on Mr. Brad Pitt, I think I may be able to make an exception. And I love when he wears an old fashioned tux. He wears a suit so well. If you need proof, take a look at him in the Ocean films. Talk about sexy....

Ok back to my point, sorry he distracts me. I hate facial hair. I down right loathe it. And even though the stache on him still freaks me out a little I'd be willing to put up with it to wake up next to that sexy piece of man meat every day.

I know a lot of people are Team Aniston, but I'm sorry I do adore these two together. Brad seems incredibly happy and always wanted a large brood of children.

I have great hope for Ms. Britney Spears. I want her to succeed.

Well, well, well... Today is my 100th post, I can't believe that people are actually reading and caring about what lil ol me has to say.



For my 100th post I would have liked to have some cute, witty blog, but unfortunately that its going to be the case. I dedicate this, my 100th post, to Travis Barker and DJ AM. If you have not heard yet, they were both in a horrible plane crash in the early morning hours of Saturday in Columbia, SC. It appears that the pilot over ran the runway during take off and went through and fence and hit a highway off ramp. Due to the fact they the accident occurred during take off, the plane had a full tank of gas which resulted in the plane becoming engulfed in flames. Six people were on the plane, the pilot and co-pilot, Travis and DJ AM, and Travis' assistant and security. Travis and Adam "DJ AM" were the only survivors.




Travis and Adam are currently recovering from 2nd and 3rd degree burns and are in critical condition. It appears they were ejected from the plane during the crash and were on fire when bystanders came upon them on the highway.



First off, my heart goes out to all the families affected by this horrible accident. Secondly, I pray for the timely and safe recovery for both Travis and Adam. I have been a huge fan of Travis since he was in the AquaBats (prior to Blink 182). I had the opportunity to see him in concert on several occasions when I was younger. And had the chance to see DJ AM at PURE when we were in Vegas earlier this year. Both have such amazing talents and are too young to leave us so soon.



So today, on my 100th post, I hope you all keep Travis and Adam in your thoughts and prayers.
