Hello all! First things first... My giveaway ends tonight! Get in while you still can. I'll reveal the winner this weekend.

Now back to regularly scheduled programming....I have recently made some very cute (if I do say so myself) purchases at Tar-jay... my mecca of home goods and needed closet additions... since we've moved, the nearest real mall is 45 minutes away, its as close as I'm getting.

So what have I bought you ask.... well first off, these adorable lil shoes. I have paired them with a shift and tights, as well as a dress with leggings. They add a nice pop of color to a black/white and/or gray combo that I seem to wear a lot these days.

I also purchased the following two dresses. But be forewarned these dresses are short and I'm saying that as a girl that is 5'2". I have worn them with tights and leggings. I have paired them with a black and a grey boyfriend type cardigan from Old Navy.
Finally, what is a Target run without hitting up the jewelry department. I purchased this fabulous necklace for under $20. I dream about pairing it with everything this fall and winter, a crisp, white button down and jeans or adding it to a shift dress. It automatically jumps the simple, plain outfit to the next level. Love it and for $19.99, seriously I can't resist. I had hoped to make an Old Navy run last night before Mr. Jetplane's volleyball game in this outfit (FYI this is the 1st time I was to wear leggings in public without a dress over them...It was to be monumental for me). I desperately wanted to pick up a sweater to 2 that were not available in my size on the net.Unfortunately for me (or was it a sign) my car was dead. Its still dead...sitting in the garage. Mr didn't get home until 9:30 and he has class all day today. Good thing I work from home :(

Outfit above is black legging from BR purchased on sale, white v-neck Hanes tshirt, grey boyfriend cardigan from Old Navy, grey/silver scarf Target, and Nine West Riding Boots bought at the outlet 2 years ago.

I'll be the first to admit leggings have scared me. I'm short and I was cursed with some thighs... How is everyone feeling about leggings?

Don't forget to enter my giveaway....

Attn Target... I hate you right now

My desk is out of stock. Yes, the desk that I have been looking at online for over a month now. The desk I look at every single day is out of stock today. Today the day that I was actually going to buy it...its out of stock.

Its probably my own fault to blogging about it and now its out of stock.

We sold our office desk on Craigslist last week and now I have no desk.

I called Target and it was a pointless conversation with someone who gave me no information. Just basically keep checking the website. No I can't look for you to see if and when it will be back in. She didn't even ask me what I was looking at. Just keep checking the website.

That's a BIG ASS FAIL! I'm pissed. I'm UBER pissed.

If anyone sees this on Target.com please let me know. Not that I won't be looking 3x a day but still.

I know there are other desks out there but this is what I want. Its similar to my Pottery Barn inspiration desk that is $650... ugh... I need this desk to be at my residence prior to August 24.

Hey Target! Do you hear me.... I want my mother freakin desk...

Hello All... Today I am sporting my recent Target finds....

These were on clearance at the Target near my house for $6.98. However, online and at the Target near work they were still full price ($12.99).

I've paired them with a black button up shirt dress which is also from Target and bought sometime last Summer/Fall.

Don't you just love Target... Any recent Target purchases you're just crazy about? Share the wealth....

Oh Happy Day (or Night)

Santa Claus came today in the form of the UPS man. And he brought with him this lovely number. Its from the recent Lilly sale on Rue La La and it only cost me $14.20 since I had credits and a return. Now, normally I am not a fan of Lilly, but this really had me at hello... and its even better in person. Its lined in cotton and is a 100% silk.

And finally I promised that I would take a picture of my recent Target purchase. I really like this dress and unfortunately I couldn't find it anywhere on line. Its cream and navy. I paired it with open toed brown stacked heels brought a cream cardigan, since it gets a little chilly in my office.

Happy Thursday evening...

All MAXI'd Out...

Something you may have guessed by now, Mrs. Jetplane loves dresses. From Spring until the end of Fall I'm in dresses and skirts at work and at 'play'. And this summer will be like last summer, I'm obsessed with Maxi dresses, but unfortunately I refuse to pay a lot of money for the cute dresses I don all weekend long.

Over the past two months or so I've been lucky to pick up some cute cotton numbers from Old Navy and Target. **Remember Mrs. Jetplane is short like 5'2" short and when I wear these with flats they are longer than they appear on the models.

Very funny story about this below dress. I wore it on Sunday running into Target and the Commissary for grocery shopping... I had a cute lil girl spot me about 10 times in Target and every time say... "Look MOM there is that girl in the pretty dress... mom... look... isn't that dress pretty??? Oh Mom I want a pretty dress just like that!!"

Too cute right? Well at the Commissary it was a little different story, I had 3 old sailors tell me that they liked my dress too and a number of stares as well... it was much cuter coming from the lil girl... I need to pick up this lil number during my next Target visit....

Happy Wednesday to all. Please remember to keep voting for your favorite pug, polls close soon... Someone put up a link to Facebook I see, very crafty...

UPDATE: Questions about length.... I buy XS and the lengths on the Target ones are never a problem. I wear flats and they hit the top of my feet. I prefer them to be to the floor and just my feet peeking out. The Old Navy ones are a little longer, I can wear sandals with a heel, but I honestly don't mind them touching the ground a little. That's just me... that's how I roll...

Here is my latest clothing purchase from Target. I think its adorable. And its only $29.99.

I can't wait to pair it with a black turtleneck, tights, and knee high boots. Cuteness...

It does look a little short on the model, but I am only 5'2" so its longer on me...

I'm making great strides in my addiction...

to shopping that is...

I had or still have a 20% off coupon for $100 or more at the BR Outlet store that expires on 11/5. I also have $10 off from my BR Luxe rewards. But I didn't go. I tried to tell myself that I was going to begin Xmas shopping, but then I came to the hard realization that BR, JCrew, Brooks Brothers, and Ralph, have nothing there for anyone but me... Granted I could buy the Mr. some clothes but that's not what he wants for Xmas...

I also stopped myself from going to Target to start buying Xmas decorations.

But, its still calling my name.... I'm choosing to decorate the house this year with silver instead of gold, so I need to buy new stuff. For the past couple of years I've been doing golds, burgundy, greens, purples, and dark blues. I'm changing it up and I need new stuff. I explained to the Mr. that our Xmas color scheme is going to be changing... He wasn't aware that we had a color scheme... I know... I can't believe he didn't realize it either. Shocking..

I've also informed him that when we move to NC we're buying a bigger tree. I prefer fake trees, sorry but that's just me and how I was raised. The tree we have right now, is the 1st tree I had out of college. My parents came to visit me in Indy and bought me a 5ft tree from Target. Its a great lil tree and I'll keep it and use it elsewhere but its not big enough for what I imagine to have in "our house".

Well here is my latest Target buy, for 12.99 each.

I bought one in black and purple. I'm big on purple right now.

I paired the black one with a pair of tweed trousers from BR and a pair of platform mary janes. I also wore the purple one this week, with a pair of pinstripe black pants from BR and black sling backs and a large pearl necklace.
You can't beat Target...

As we all know by now, times are tight people. Thriftiness is skill that we'll all have to gain. Well, good for me it was a skill that I've been born with. I love a good sale and I love a good bargain.

So today I was wearing, this great light, weight cardigan, in dark gray, from Target.
Its casual Friday, so I paired the cardigan with a purple cotton t-shirt and dark jeans from BR, with a pair of BGBG metallic black/purplish heels. I actually forgot I even had the heels. I've been going through my shoe collection, remembering and wearing shoes I totally forgot about. I have an entire linen closet in the master bath filled with my boxed shoe collection. The rest is in the the master closet. Unfortunately, the hubby's clothes are in the guest bedroom.

Hi. My name is Heather and I'm a Shopaholic. There I've admitted it, but its something I've known all along. But I would like it to be known, that I'm always looking for a bargain. Also, moving to P'cola where my shopping options are extremely limited and the fact that I'm short, narrow shoulders, and big booty, I can't really rely on online shopping too much because I need to try things on.

That being said, I love Target as does most of the world. Unfortunately, I miss my Super-Target near my old apt in Indy like no other... but I'm dealing/coping.

Anyway - today I'm sporting a cute lil number that I bought at Target. I've also bought it in Black as well. I'm a firm believer if you like something and it fits perfectly buy it in multiple colors/fabrics/etc. So I do and I did.

I've paired it with my Franco Sarto Metallic Brown leather/wood platforms which I bought 2+ years ago at DSW (which I don't have any near me in P'cola) and they look a lot like Michael Kors wooden platforms. Additionally, I'm wearing large gold hoops from Old Navy and my White leather and Wicker large Coach purse. Its my go-to for the summer and its still summer down here...

P.S. Side note, I got an XS, it made me smile... especially since I know I've gained back 5 lbs or so since the wedding... damn it...
