Husband or Blog?

Now that Mr. Jetplane is back at home, my Internet access has slowly declined but its obviously still higher than he had expected. Last night we were sitting on the couch watching TV and I was reading blogs. The conversation went something like this...

Mr: "When did you become so obsessed with that computer?"

Me: "When my husband left me for 6 months."

Mr: "Oh I had no idea, you were this into your computer."

Me: "Yeah, well would you rather be replaced by my computer or another man?"

Mr: "Good Point! Now put that computer away."

Me: "Ok I'll remember that when you're knee deep into battles with your buddies on Xbox or Mario Cart!"

Mr: "That's different!"

Me: "Oh no its not!!"

The husband won out over blogging last night, but will he be successful tonight.... we shall see...

Ohhh puuuhhlease! I know the power of a man in uniform! You would dump us in a heartbeat for that man! (Umm...maybe I would as well for Country. IT'S THE UNIFORM. It's like crack!)

Hahaha! I think I've had that convo several times.

Luckily (or not) J-Dub usually falls asleep on the couch immediately following dinner, so that frees up my night for a nice blog-o-thon.

Mr. Marine says the same thing. However, he will spend endless hours watching Georgia football (and any other team that's on TV).

Hah! Newlywed Husband and I have that very same conversation all the time - and he always wins! Even though I bring up his excessive Speed Channel watching :)

Don't let him win, we need you and you need your blog world! :)

So glad he is home safe and sound though, enjoy time together!!

Oh, no... it is definitely the same thing. You should be spending time with the husband but he needs to understand you're 'famous' in the blogosphere and have 'fans' and 'followers' who are waiting for your posts. Haha!

So my husband says the same thing. Yet the video games still seem to be more enticing than me!

Double standard much?!?

He's been away far to long for the computer to win out yet. Enjoy your time with him. XOXO

That's the same conversation I had with my hubs after he got done with the bar... I've def been worse about blogging since he's been around more. But sometimes sports/video games are on and I get my time!

Funny...it's definitely an adjustment having them home isnt it. I generally blog while he's playing some sort of playstation game. It's a win-win...until I'm done and want to watch tv.

We're so pathetic that we'll both be reading blogs on out laptops while lounging on the couch. Of course, if he said, let's put the computers away and do something else I wold too!
