Today I'm heading down to visit Mr. Jetplane for a several days.  We both miss each other so much.  I know this isn't the best picture but its all my boys having fun together.  Its going to be hard for Mr. when he gets home. 

It will be a week this evening that we lost our beloved big boy Charlie.  I am still terribly sad about this.  Thankfully I fly down to visit Mr. Jetplane on Friday, it was a planned trip.  I will be gone for 2 weeks down to Alabama and the Gulf Coast.  It will be hard putting Milo in doggie day care for 2 weeks, alone without his BIG lil brother. I am comforted to know that out of the 2 of them, Milo was the independent one. 

I got Milo when I was living in Indy before I met Mr. Jetplane.  I used to travel a ton for my previous job so he got used to doggie kennels and had been the solo dog in my house and heart for quite some time before Charlie was added to the picture.  Milo is a hardy lil guy but that isn't going to make it any easier when I have to drop him off on Friday.  Especially when I'm going to have to tell the kennel workers about Charlie.  They adored Charlie.

In honor of my sweet boy Charlie, Pug Friday has been replaced by Charlie.  I miss my big guy so much.  Thank you all for your kindness and love during this time.  I really appreciate it. 

The highest of highs and the lowest of lows. 

We lost are sweet, lovable, big American Bulldog Charlie last night.  I came home to find him already gone.  It hurts too much to get into the details right now but my heart is broken into millions of pieces.  Sadly Mr. Jetplane is away at school and won't be back until the end of July.  He is absolutely devastated by this and that breaks my heart even more.  Charlie was my husband's best friend, he loved that dog so much, they had an amazing connection.  I feel horrible about his loss. 


Charlie...my sweet baby Charlie...mama is so sorry she wasn't here to help you. I'm so sorry you're gone. You were such a wonderful dog.
This is one of my favorite pictures of the two of them.  Charlie was a big dog but loved to cuddle.  He wanted to be a lap dog.  He loved his daddy so much, he was his shadow.  He was the sweetest boy.  I left his red bandanna on him, I think he would have liked it that way. 

Mama loves you sweet baby Charles.  Like I told you every single day, you are the best big white dog I ever had.  We miss you so much already. 

This afternoon I go in for my gender reveal ultrasound, crossing fingers the bebe cooperates and we get to find out.  With Mr. Jetplane gone until the end of July I'll be attending the ultrasound solo, which honestly makes me one sad girl.  In order to get to share in this experience, I'm having the tech put the outcome in an envelope and we'll open it together on Skype when we gets off work.  Luckily, he's an hour a head of me, so we won't have to wait as long.  We're on excitement overload over here today!!!!

Here we are on Saturday before heading to a squadron's wives brunch, I was 18weeks and 2 days.  I have felt in the past week the bump is really starting to come along.  To be honest, I'm eager for it to start looking more like I'm pregnant and less like I have a beer gut. 

Here's to a successful ultrasound.  Crossing fingers this sweet lil one knows their mama is a planner and needs to know if they are a boy or girl. 

Four years ago today the Jetplanes made it official, we became husband and wife.  The past four years haven't been the easiest four years of our lives but they've been filled with love, laughter, and adventure...just the way we like it.  


Happy Anniversary to sexy baby daddy....

Oh boy...today I turn the BIG 3-2!  I'm shocked at how fast the past year has flown by, I honestly don't understand where time has gone.  I'm currently enjoying a lil vacay with Mr. Jetplane back home in Illinois.  For the 1st time, probably in forever, I am spending my birthday with my family and my husband...oh and let's not forget the sweet lil bundle of joy that I currently living with :)

Let's just say this birthday is very different from the years previous....
