Mrs. Jetplane spent last night

With being crazy busy at work and having 4, count em 4, projects due this week I got home late last night and was starving. I heated up a bowl of leftover pasta and popped in a piece (ok 2 pieces) of garlic bread and went to town. I love my carbs.

The rest of the night was like this:

1. Catching up on blogs and trying to comment.

2. Ate a bowl of cut strawberries, with a few mini marshmallows, and a drizzle of chocolate syrup (aka my new favorite dessert) while watching the Biggest Loser. Is it weird that I always eat when I watch this show?

3. Watched the Real Housewives of the OC and was disgusted with some of the behavior by Tamara and Vicki. Tamara stop being jealous and where can we buy your husband "amazing" tequila that has been successful during this "difficult economic times". Vicki, you are a ridiculous person. You are so involved in your kids' lives but you didn't know that she wanted to join the Army... interesting that she's not now. Also, Gretchen wants attention.... Hello? If that's not the pot calling the kettle black. And Gretchen, while your relationship has been questioned my heart does go out her and his family. If I was in her shoes, I wouldn't have left his side, but we don't know exactly what was going on?

4. Stayed up late and watched the Real Housewives of NYC. Yeah! These bitches are awesome. Its going to be an exciting year. I about fell out of my seat, when I saw the house they rented in the Hamptons.

Housewives of the OC

Okay, the past 2 weeks, I have been disgusted by you. It's one thing to show underage drinking and its other to show it being completely condoned by a room full of adults.

These girls are 17 and 18 years old. They shouldn't be drinking at a bowling alley, how did they get home from said bowling alley. And don't these kids realize that they are being taped and this is on national television.

So Mrs. Jetplane wasn't an angel, far from it, but I wasn't on national television.

And, Jeanna's kids are out of f-ing control. I was completely shocked and outraged that they talked to her like that. I wouldn't have stood for it. So what if your dad was a horrible husband and you heard him talk that way to your mother. You know it hurt her self esteem and know its not right. I speak from personal experience here, boys.

You know right from wrong, and I hope to God you see yourselves on tv and realize what total a-holes you are.

And Jeanna, take charge of your life and let your kids know that you're their mother and you demand their respect.

Rant over... Happy Hump Day to all.

XOXO

Don't tell Mr. Jetplane...

But I am in love with another man and that man is Eddie Ross.

He first stole my heart on Top Design and continues to make me love him daily on his blog. He is amazingly creative and its always on a budget. I wish I was in ATL this weekend to meet up with him and do some shopping at the local flea markets.

Make sure to check out his blog for decorating inspiration and wonderful how to tips like this tray.

Drinks anyone?

Date Night - the Recap

Well... we did go out to eat. We ate at a lil Mexican restaurant near the house and also near Wal-Mart. We decided since the movie was only on at 6:15pm or 8:30 pm, it wasn't doable. I don't get home from work until 6:00. (and b/c we're old and its a school night) FYI - we haven't had Mexican together for a couple of months, we got totally burned out. We used to have Strawberry Margaritas and tacos/fajitas at least once every 2 weeks.

We split Fajitas Texans, which is our favorite, but no drinks. Then we headed over to Super Wal-Mart to get our shopping on. Since Brent is back in the house, I needed to get all the essentials for him - Orange Juice (Pulp Free Low Acid), Acai Juice, Beer, Cereal, tons of lunch meat, and cheese. That boy loves his beverages and sandwiches.

Side Note ..... Military wives - do you all grocery shop on base? I can't, I get totally annoyed. People are pushy and the baggers insist on walking you out to the car and demand tips. We do go to the NEX (we're on a Navy base but he is USAF) and shop sometimes when there is a sale.

Then we headed home to watch Greek (one of our favorite shows) and of course Bravo's new shows - Housewives of ATL and Rachel Zoe. He hated both of them and instead read his book on the couch. But I did talk him into rubbing my feet...

God we are so exciting.....

Is anyone else watching the new Housewives in ATL? Is Kim is she wearing a wig or is that just me? And why do I have to see her bra all the time?
