Good Morning... Happy Pug Friday!

People think pugs can't or won't swim. I don't think there is anything further from the truth. Milo loves to swim in a lake, pool, or ocean. I started him with a lifejacket in my parents pool when he was a puppy and now you can't keep him out of the water.

He thinks he is a retriever and attempts to swim out with all the 'big' dogs at the dog beach and tries to retrieve the toys... too bad his lil mouth isn't big enough.

Now I have to get back to the land of the living. It was really nice to not wear any makeup or blow dry my hair for a week.

In honor of the Jetplanes recent Vegas Vacay I thought we'd have a themed Pug Friday for all you lovely readers.

Sorry I haven't given you a post about Vegas. The Jetplanes are leaving on Sunday for a weekend long lake vacay and needless to say, I'm a busy bee at work.

But here's a brief rundown.

1. I am currently nursing an injury that I gave to myself sober, when I fell in the middle of the MGM Grand. Wearing my very cute white/purple dress (didn't wear to the wedding).

2. Someone I was with took their shirt off at a blackjack table...2x.

3. I had to call my hubby to come get me. I had NO money and didn't bring my debit card out on purpose.

4. I did shots.. I never do shots. (reason to follow)

5. I didn't get to bed on Saturday morning until around 5am. Wedding at 2pm on Saturday.

6. I got us on the guest list for Wet Republic, couldn't go.. (reason to follow)

7. I had the 2nd worst hangover of my entire life. reason I don't do shots!

8. I dry heaved in the limo to the wedding, with Mr. Jetplane's family in the limo. The A/C was seriously blowing out hot air, and it was already 105 outside. **I start crying when I dry heave..TMI...maybe.

9. I had to have the limo drop me off at the hotel after the ceremony so I could throw up and sleep.

10. Met up with the crew 5 hours later at Slots of Fun with $3 tables and played black jack for 5 hours on $40. Came out $6.50 ahead.

11. I wore my blue shoes to the wedding, and got a lot of compliments. Too bad my ankle was/is bruised and swollen and I had to walk around in 4 inch heels.

12. I have like 3 pictures from the entire trip.

13. I was seriously a HOT MESS. Not proud of myself and Mr. Jetplane says his sister and I are even.

14. I did apologize to her and her husband like no more than 10x. They supposedly didn't care. Their MOH was wasted at the wedding and hit on the limo driver (man) and the minister (woman).

Good Morning and Happy Friday to everyone. I don't know about you but this week has really kicked my ass. And I am uber happy that Friday has finally came around. This weekend we don't have any real plans and that's music to my ears.



For this Pug Friday I have retrieved 2 more pictures of my Milo when we was a puppy. And I apologize in advance for cutting someone out of the pictures, my ex, aka Mr. Douchebag, as is he affectionately referred to on my blog.


Don't worry he wasn't hurting him, Milo liked to wrestle and nimble at your fingers. He was quite a handful as a puppy. He's my lil old man now, but some days he still has that crazy puppy side to him.

I mean come on, how cute are pug puppies? Seriously...

But my lil old man can be just as cute. He'll be celebrating his 6th birthday next month along with Mr. Jetplane. Don't worry... I got his (meaning Mr.) gift in the mail yesterday...actually from Rue La La, more on that later...

Hello Friday! Oh how I've missed you these past 6 days. Today will be busy and with the yard sale this weekend, it will be crazy tonight at the Jetplanes' household.

But since it is Friday and I got my old pictures from my previous laptop retrieved, I had to post some puggie puppy pictures of my sweet lil man Milo. Excuse the man in the picture, that is my ex - aka Mr. Douchebag - as he is affectionately referred to on my blog.

Milo was a over 1 year old when Mr. Jetplane came into my life and he was so shocked to see what a cutie pie he was (still is in my book).



So behold Milo as a puppy. Is that not the sweetest face in the world? Pug puppies are my own personal kryptonite.

Hello All! Did this week fly by or is it me, it might be me...



Who is looking forward to a 3 day weekend... (raising my hand). Too bad the Gulf Coast is in for a wet weekend. But that's ok, we have ALOT of prep for the upcoming yard sale to do this weekend. We've never had a yard sale before, sure with our families but not just us. We're so adult. ha ha.


Anyway, back to the purpose of the post....PUGS! Since my laptop is still in the shop I can't upload any puggie pics of my sweetie pie Milo but I did locate this adorable blog about 2 black pugs Shasha and Cleo.

Long story short...Orginally, almost 6 years ago now, I wanted a black, female pug but I got a fawn, male one instead. But that's ok, I adore my lil hunk of pure pug loving Milo.



This week Pug Friday picture I pulled from their blog and I believe is a perfect picture to show you exactly what it looks like at my house with Milo come dinner time.

What do these faces say to you?

To Mrs. Jetplane they say, "Please feed me. I am so hungry and mistreated. If you love me you will feed me. Oh no Mama... you don't love me..."

P.S. Thank you for the kind words and motivation for my recent stance on getting back into shape. The pictures are from right before our wedding, I am skinny there, I am NOT skinny now. I live in Florida. I have to be in a swimsuit, this tube of fat that is attached to my ass, stomach, and thighs needs to be removed. I'll keep you all updated.

I'm currently in route to Chi-town and couldn't be more excited...


Well I guess that's not exactly true. I wish it was warmer and I wish Mr. Jetplane was with me.


But other than that, I'm so excited to see lil baby C and spend time with Lou.


Since graduating college, all of us girls live all over the place and don't get to see each other that much. But when we get together, its like we've never been apart. Its amazing and I think that a sign of a true friend. I love my friends so much and I miss getting to hang out with them.


Jill... if you're reading this today, we'll miss you TONS. Can't wait to see you at the wedding. Love you.

Hello Lover.... Is that a pug on your arm, or are you just happy to see me??

Its Friday everybody.... This week has flown by and next Friday I'm heading up to the Chi to hang out with my girlfriends. I can't wait.

First things first, thanks for the kind words about missing my hubby. And yes, the picture is of us. The lovely Michelle at Oeil Photography took our engagement pics around P'cola. Please check out her work. She is a fellow mil wife and currently living in Jacksonville.

But most importantly it is Friday, I had to give you your dose of Pug. Here is my lil hunk of loving Milo. As you can see there is a big pile of pillows on the other side of the couch, he prefers to lay on top of all of them and watch television. Except right here, he wanted me to throw his monkey. This is his most favorite toy. He brings it to bed with him every night. I say "You ready for bed?" I head to my bedroom and he follows with the monkey in his mouth....
