Mrs. Jetplane Needs Your Help

Okay, so I complain and complain that even though I'm 29 yrs old I regularly get carded for alcohol and have even been carded when renting an unrated foreign film (that was a couple of years ago). I was also asked last year if I was getting my nails done for prom. Uh no, jackass I'm getting married and I'm missing my 10 yr class reunion because I'm going to be on my honeymoon.
Yes, I know..oh you poor thing... oh I wish I had your problem...oh cry me a river...you'll be happy when you're 30 and that still happens....
I've heard it all people.... but seriously it gets annoying.
I have been in a business meeting, giving a vendor presentation to prospective clients and at the end of the meeting the VP of Marketing turns to me and says, "Please don't take this the wrong way, but how old are you?"
(Excuse me... how am I suppose to take it.... you can't believe that someone my age (or whatever age you think I am) could be a compenent and knowledgable saleswoman???)
I told him I'd tell him how old I was if he told me how old he was. He laughed and said, "Wow you're pretty quick on your feet. But seriously, how old are you?"
I was around 25 then, and in all honesty looked maybe 21 on a good day.
But the point of this story is that while I may have been blessed with 'young' looks and clear skin, I have noticed that I have developed deep wrinkles in middle of my brows and I'm flipping out about it.
I started using wrinkle cream about 3 months ago and I'm even trying to stop myself from scrunching my brows and doing anymore damage to my face. I notice I do this when I'm reading, working, and having any sort of serious conversation.
So I ask you, what type of wrinkle creams do you recommend. I don't want to spend an arm and a leg, but these wrinkles need to stop pronto.
Help me!!!

AVON sells what they call "advance wrinkle corrector", its priced @ 32.00 for 1.7fl oz.
I haven't used it yet, I am an AVON rep though so if you want, I can see if I can find some samples and mail them to you.
**I am not in any way or shape or form trying to get you to order from me so please don't think I am. I am not a pushy sales person. LOL If you order from me great, if not... it won't bother me in the least**
I hope you are able to find something, but from the pictures, I think you look beautiful.
I have heard that sephora sells a nice line of wrinkle creams. They aren't to expensive either.
I've also heard good thinks about Olay wrinkle cream products. Most of the other creams you are just paying for the name anyways. GOOD LUCK!
OMG! I am exactly like you, I will be 26 in 2 months and I get asked if I am 21/22 all the time. I too have two wrinkles inbetween my eyebrows! I havent checked out any wrinkle creams yet, so I am curious to see what your followers say. Please let me know if you buy any which ones you like the best!
I was carded when buying tickets to go see The Hangover! It made me so mad, because I had just jumped out of the car with my bank card and nothing else. (we were purchasing tickets first and then going to eat before the movie.) The lady almost didn't let me purchase them because I didn't have my ID on me. I'm pretty sure I look 17 people!!!
I read an article the other day about dermatologist pushing for people to stop buying the expensive face creams and that the drugstore brands work just as well. Something to think about...
Try Wexler. Its only sold at Bath and Body Works. I've used the acne products and they are truly amazing, the only thing that works for my skin. I've heard rave reveiws about the anti aging products as well (I haven't tried them yet, I'm still told I look 12) There's a bunch of different products so you can pick one that fits your specific needs as well as cleansers and moisturizers.
I was a 21 year old sales woman who had to sell BARGES to engineers. You wouldn't believe how many times age mattered to them. I figured if I just knew my stuff and looked good they wouldn't care. Being a woman alone was going make them not listen to me.
Sorry about the wrinkles! I got a grey hair in my eyebrow a couple of times and almost fainted.
I could totally use some wrinkle cream! I don't care if it's because I smile a ton, I don't like those lines!
i get carded ALL the time at 25!! But at 29 i hope it still happens!!
I can see how that would be REALLY annoying! That guys was SO rude to ask you your age like that-- Why does it matter anyway if you were doing a great job?
I use a cream with 100,000 IUs of retinol and have noticed a huge difference on my forehead and around my eyes. You might try looking for somthing that has lots and lots of retinol in it (if it doesn't irritate your skin, that is).
I'm gonna have that problem eventually too-- cause my mom does!
The only thing I've seen is botox, lol.
B-O-T-O-X! Trust me, it's the best. I haven't had furrows in my forehead for years. Love, love, love it
I adore the Regenerist line by Olay. Pricey for a drug store option but cheap compared to the high end stuff out there. I have about 4 products from the line and love them all!!
I have the same issues (and same age!) and I've recently been using the Neutrogena Anti-oxidant Age reverse cream. It seems to be pretty good. I figure, if it's good enough for Jennifer Garner... :-)
this has absolutely 0 to do with your post, but i thought at some point I remember you talking about either you or your husband loving Naked drinks? If you go here (http://nakedjuice.com/coupons/POS531_NJPM_Cpn_V06_FR.pdf) you can get a coupon for 1$ off, and its downloadable so you can print as many as you want. The commissary chick looked at me like I was crazy this afternoon buying 20 bottles of juice. (if you didn't mention this at some point...just consider me crazy!)
uhhhhhhh I totally relate. My husband only gets carded when he's with me - no joke. I was a store manager... I'd have people ask me to see the manager... when I said I was the manager you could see it on their faces that they were trying to decide if they could ask for a different manager.
And last time I flew with my parents, I was asked how old I was.
But in the middle of a meeting? And keeps pressing it even after you made him look stupid? That takes the cake.
Mary Kay is pretty awesome. My Mary Kay lady is amazing a really knows her stuff if you're interested.
I have no idea on wrinkle cream but be sure you wear sunglasses when you're driving and outside in the sun, that will help with the squinting.
I use - and LOVE - Olay's Age Defying Anti-Wrinkle Daily cream. You can find it at CVS for $15. The bottle lasts a long time, and it has SPF 15. At age 27, I've been using for a year, and have definitely noticed an improvement in my skin!
Tazorac is good for wrinkles because it has retin A (aka retinoids) in it. It's only available by prescription though.
My mom has been using it for awhile and can tell a difference. It will dry your skin out at first, but it's nothing major. Just follow up with a bit of moisturizer.
Some people use Retin A, but Tazorac is less expensive and does the same thing.
I know you wrote this post a few days ago, but I just had to comment! I am exactly the same way--I always get carded for everything! When I was 22 and buying spray paint for a friend's art project, the lady didn't believe I was 18, and old enough to buy it! i didn;t even know there was an age for that stuff!
however, I've noticed lately I have frown lines, even though no other fine lines at all. i've started using clique superdefense with spf 25, and have noticed a huge difference!
