Project Get Sexy Update

Hello out there...As I said before I have started Couch to 5k. I'd like to say I'm doing awesome, but I'm not. But that being said, I'm pretty proud of myself. Week 1 work outs were good, Week 2 kicked my ass so I decided to repeat Week 2 before moving onto Week 3. Considering I thought I might die doing week 3...yeah maybe a lil over dramatic.
This morning I finished my last workout of my repeated Week 2. I don't like it, well let me re-phrase, I don't like running at all, but I feel my endurance building and that's a great feeling.
Unfortunately Mr hurt himself mountain biking last week so he hasn't been running with me in the mornings so that makes me even more proud that I have gotten up on my own.
How are you all doing with C to 5K?

Great job!! I did the c25k and now I'm up to 5 miles but it's still a struggle. I can't say I LOVE running!
I'm doing Couch to 5K too! I just finished week two. I start week 3 tomorrow and I'm not really looking forward to stepping up to running for longer. But, all in all, it's a much more tolerable way for me to run than just going out there and hitting the pavement.
I hope your hubs is okay after the accident!
Keep at it, and one day you'll be saying things like "it's just a 5k"
Really! 3 years ago I couldn't run a 5k, now I say crap like "I just have a 5k left" to get me through the end of my 17-mile run.
I just read your post on Tuesday and started my Couch to 5k on yesterday. It's torture, but my reasons keep me going. Hubby and I are trying to make a baby... (visit my blog and read more).
Stay encouraged... I'll keep up with you to se how you're doing.
Best!
I did a 5k this spring, and didn't train like I should have. It was harder than I thought b/c of my asthma, but I was so proud of myself. You can do it! Wish we were closer, this beginner would run with you! We could motivate each other. From Beast to Beauty and From Couch Potato to 5K!
YAY! great job it's funny as I was working out last night I was thinking about you and your progress! Glad to hear it's doing well.
