Into the Wild Blue Yonder...

Today Mr. Jetplane started the B course, this is the final section of flight school for the F15e. I guess you can call it his first day of school and to honor this event at 6:30 this morning I wanted to take his picture.
I mean that is what you do on the first day of school right? As you can see he wasn't participating in this lil photoshoot. He is busy getting his morning coffee from our Tassimo and preparing to hit the road.

Today marks the start of what will be a really tough road for the next 9 months or so. This class is tough stuff, he'll be in ground school for awhile and then he'll start flying.
Its pretty amazing that this will be his future office...
I am so immensely proud of my husband. He wasn't in the Air Force when we met and this process (getting accepted to OTS, OTS, Primary, Advanced, IFF, EWO, SERE, now RAG) has not been easy for either of us. But we're quite a team and I don't think I've ever been prouder of anyone in my life.
And for your viewing pleasure this morning....this is quite funny

Wishing your husband all sorts of luck today!
Good luck Mr. Jetplane! You will do fantastic!
congratulations and good luck! It is so amazing to hear how proud and supportive of your husband you are!
I've been thinking about the air force since my acceptance to medical school and would love to hear from you about the pros and cons someday!
Nothing quite like a guy in a flight suit! Sending you both luck as you continue this adventure. Flight School is tough, but it sounds like you guys are doing great.
Gotta love the "first day of school" pics. Good luck to the both of you on this last leg!

Good luck in the RAG, I think you guys might find it easier than being in an actual squadron. Oh and seriously, I hate calling it the "RAG." hhaha
