Exciting Events for the Jetplanes

First things first, the Jetplanes have decided how they are going to spend their 1st Anniversary as a married couple....well since 1st year is paper, we think we've found the best way (for us) to celebrate and that is going to Biloxi, MS. Yes, its no Vegas but its a quick drive from P'cola, we're close to the water, we're going to schedule massages, we're gonna enjoy some good food and have a heck of a time.
You see the Jetplanes like to gamble and enjoy some adult beverages so there you go... Yes, it may not be 'that exciting' to some, but we're trying to be conservative with our spending, we're already going on a week long vacay with Mr.'s frat brothers, and we're moving in August so I need my vacay days. But we're both REALLY excited. We enjoy going to Biloxi, we're booking our room now... and trying to get the best deal.
Now that is out of the way the next BIG news is Mrs. Jetplane is going to be blogging somewhere else starting today.... Does anyone know??? The cat has been somewhat out of the bag for a couple of weeks but.... Becca has accepted me into the fold at Glam Gals: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Military Wives. My first post is this morning.
So for all you Mil Wives, and non Mil Wives, please check us out.
And now to get mushy for a moment... this whole blogging world has become a wonderful outlet for me and has connected me with so many lovely ladies - mil and non mil. I discussed it with Mr. Jetplane last night, and he doesn't seem to be able to wrap his mind around it. You all make me feel like I'm not the only one out there feeling the way I feel. So THANK YOU to all of you that read my lil blog and THANK YOU to all of you for becoming my blogging friends...

Also, where in NC will you move to? The husband and I are moving to south of Raleigh this summer.
The Mr loves Biloxi. He went there for a bachlor party and spent a lot of money and they continue to send us coupons for free nights and what not. Yall are going to have a great time. And what a neat idea for paper.
Hope you come home with more paper than you leave with!
I'm not even a military wife (yet - give me nine more months!) but finding blogs like yours make me feel like what I'm getting myself into isn't all that scary. I can't wait to check out this other site, too!

A trip is a trip! 2 years ago our big trip was to Orange Beach, AL. :) Have fun girl!
If you haven't already booked a room somewhere, try using priceline. I always "name my own price" and wind up staying in a 4-5 star hotel for about $100!
