Mom Update

I haven't blogged too much about this lately, because I hate to be a Debbie Downer.
My mom is going to St. Louis this evening and having a double mastectomy tomorrow morning.
Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. I'm cautiously optimistic, because it appears we've caught the cancer early.
Due to our family history and the way the cancer has formed, she has chosen to go the route of having both breasts removed. I 100% support that decision, and while it may seem extreme to some, I think its the only reasonable option.

I will for sure be keeping you in my prayers! :) I have dealt with all of that with my mom as well, and know what you are going through. Be strong, and just know that she loves you SO much :)

Your poor mom. That has to be one of the hardest things to go through. I will keep her and your family in my prayers. Please keep us posted.

Your momma's in my prayers, girl! My mom had breast cancer as well, but they caught it early and tests look good now... I totally know how you feel. Sending BIG hugs and big prayers your way!
