I'm back... as much as I can be...

We arrived back in Florida early this morning and we both have to work today.
Its going to be a long day, that's for sure.
Its been a very hard past few days, but with Mr. Jetplane by my side, it made it all a little easier. He wasn't going to go with me, because of Charlie and his new job he had to start on Monday. After much tears, and a little yelling he was in the car for the 10 hour journey to my Midwestern hometown. All of that is a story for another time, but one I think could be worth telling.
Anyway, funerals bring out the best and the worst in people and this occasion was no different. I come from a very blended and slightly crazy family and that makes for chaos in situations like this.
And to make everything a little worse, my Grandma R passed away the day before the anniversary of my Grandma N (13 years), my mom's mom. Her death 13 years ago, during my junior year of high school, changed my life forever. But that too, my fine readers is another story for another day.
Grandma R was a wonderful lady, that was full of life, sass, and was NEVER at a loss for words. She told you exactly how she felt, and that was that. She will be greatly missed.
Thank you all again for all the lovely thoughts and prayers. All are greatly appreciated. Now that Mr. Jetplane is home, he's really trying to get a hold of and understand this whole blogging thing... I received a package in the mail from a lovely blogger and I tried to explain to him why, and he looked at me like I had a 3rd eye... Oh well, in due time he'll understand it...
XOXO

Glad you guys made it back safe. I am so sorry for your loss and will continue to keep you guys in my prayers.
My hubby still doesn't get the whole blogging thing. He gives me a hard time about it. :) I just grin.
I'm continuing to pray for you both. In time Mr. Jetplane will learn the blogging world. My husband is still weirded out that I call you all my friends. LOL!! Sometimes there are just things that guys don't really need to understand. :) XOXO
I'm so glad your back and that the Mr. got to go with you. I'm sure it truly did help having his support.
I'll be thinking about you during this difficult time. I hope your day goes quickly so you can get some well deserved rest.
i'm glad you made it back safely. i'm also glad he got to go with you. i think timing is everything and is certainly no coincidence. it definitely wasn't a coincidence that this happened after he got home to you!
oh... and he may never understand the blogging thing! :)
I'm so glad Mr. Jetplane was home to go with you. I'm sorry about the loss of your grandmother- that's never easy. Keep your chin up!
Glad your back and that you have your husband with you through it all
I'm gald you're back, and I'm sorry that you had to go through that. Just know that you're never alone. :)
YAY! You got the package!!!
Tomorrow I'm going to post about all the wonderful things you got me! ;)
I'm glad you made it back safely and glad that the Mr. was able to go with you. Those are situations when you need someone along for the ride. I bet it was a nice way to reconnect after being apart for so long.
You are still in my prayers. Know that you are not alone :)
I am keeping you in my prayers. Glad you got Mr. to come along.
xoxo,
Muffy
Mr. Jetplane will really be confused when you tell him you are meeting up with a fellow blogger (meeeeeee) whiel you are out here in May!
Don't worry, Mr. Marine already questioned me about it. He thinks you are posing as a military wife, only you are really a man who is going to kidnap me! ahaha aha
Glad you made it back and have such great memories of your grandma and that Mr could go along with you. Thinking of you and everything.
My thoughts are with you both still.
I'm happy he was able to make it out there with you. I'm sure that meant alot to you.
Husby will never understand this blogging thing. I just let him read and think that he knows whats on the up and up. ;)
I'm sorry for your loss. At least you have some good memories with her. I lost my great-grandmother when I was a junior in high school. She was the first person I was close to to pass away. That first important death can be very life changing. I miss my mammaw.
