Very Bad Lil Pug

He might look cute, but he's a pain in the ass sometimes. And last night, I was totally embarrassed by the lil sh!t.

I was home, just changed out of my work clothes into comfy lounging/pj's and making myself a salad. And I hear a knock on the door, its my lovable UPS man delivering my new Marc Jacobs sunglasses... Rue La La, you're the devil...

He must have been running late because it was well after 6, and he usually comes back out house about 5:40ish (yes I know when my UPS gets to my house, b/c I'm usually not there). So I flip on the porch light open the door, do a lil chit chat, and Milo runs out the front door. Not a big deal, he greets the UPS man, and goes running to his favorite bush to pee on in our front yard. Then I see him take off down the driveway, I think he's going to run into the UPS truck. Oh no, my neighbor across the street is in her front yard with a puppy. Milo runs across the street (luckily I'm in a quiet subdivision and almost to the cul-de-sac, no cars) and sniffs the other dog. The neighbor assures me all is well. Well then I look up to see her front door is open. I immediately yell, "He's going to go in your house. I know he will." She assures me that's ok. Here I am standing on this woman's front porch, yelling at my damn dog, in my pj's, no shoes, and I see him going into her bedroom. She assures me its ok, and I go in the house, he's running around and goes and sits in the dog's bed. I pulled that lil pug up and give him the evil eye, he knows he's in trouble.

Well, needless to say, someone spent a good majority of the evening in his room, thinking about what he did. After he was left out, he kindly snuggled with me on the couch. That damn dog...

This is the 2nd time he's ran into one of our neighbor's houses. The last time was over a year ago, he ran in a sat on their couch. He has no shame...

Oh my goodness, that is too funny! I can completely see my dogs doing something like that. It's good to know that your dog is comfortable in a variety of places!

My dog is so mischievous like that too, it makes me so angry! They are funny stories to other people, but I can totally understand why you get angry.

Silly pug! When I get super mad at the dog I always try to think about what he would say..."mom I was only trying to___(witty statement here)__"

LMAO!!! That is so funny!!! Milo wanted to sleep over at the new puppys house. :) When Baxley gets out he tries to get into any car driving down the street. He won't run in front of them but when they stop to keep from hitting them he tries to get inside. He just wants to go for a C-A-R R-I-D-E (yes we have to spell it out at home too). {HUGS}

What a little shit! My neighbors think our dogs are crazy too- getting out of the fence, barking at other dogs and children, licking their hands... good thing they're understanding people!

I love it. So funny!

Our lab Dusty once ran into our neighbors house during a party there were having, grab a loaf of bread and ran out. hahahaha! Good thing we were good friends with them!

My pom does this too! I can't take her out without a leash on because if a neighbor's garage door goes up, she sees it as an open invitation to check out their house. Of course they all think it's adorable and give her tons of love when she does this, so she thinks it's perfectly acceptable behavior!

Mine LIVES to run across our street and socialize with our neighbors. Sees the front door opening & morphs into a snorting speed racer intent to get out. So scary & irritating.

sounds like something that happened with our terrier abby. our neighbors have a chihuahua (Missy) and one day while the dogs were playing outside abby ran inside the neighbors house. she came running out with one of Missy's dog toys in her mouth. she ran all the way home and went under our couch!!! she's become quite the thief!!!!

Our sweet little Abe listens about that well, too. He is so darn friendly that he will just dart across the street to greet the neighbors, completely ignoring me yelling at him to stay on our side of the street. He even darted out in front of the FedEx truck one day. Talk about a scolding! HOwever, it has not seemed to phase him. They have minds of their own sometimes.

This is so funny! I love that he just went into the bedroom like he owned the place! haha!

Yeah, Chief has major listening issues as well. And if I take off chasing her, she thinks its a game and runs even faster. Haha, I am just picturing Milo hanging out on your neighbor's bed! At least the neighbor was okay with it!

OH MAN!!!!!! You poor thing!!!! Maybe he is just REALLY into home decor?

I love Muffy's comment. It adds a little humor to the situation. We had a dog that loved to chase cows. She woukdn't listen to you any other time, but if she was chasing cows? Forget it.

Hilarious!!

Mine have the bad habit of running a complete street down and hanging on our neighbor's porch. Only prob is there's three of them and they're impossible to catch!!

Good thing they usually just come home!

Hello! I found your blog via Make Mine a Mojito. I am dying of laughter--I'm so sorry, I know that had to be terrible, but, it totally sounds like something my boxer would do. He thinks he's a human, not a dog. He'd sit on a sofa, get under the blankets, whatever. If humans do it, it must be ok--that's how my little trouble maker thinks.

Anyways, wanted to stop by and say hello and that I love your blog!
