Jetplanes Moving on Up to the East Side...

Well that's not totally true...
We're moving further east, that's most definitely true. Mr. Jetplane received his orders yesterday for our move to NC and his F-15E squadron. With his knee surgery, we got rolled back a class or two.
We will heading to NC at the end of August. It seems I always move in August, and if you know anything about the Gulf Coast in August, its the worst possible time. I moved from Indy to P'cola in August, we moved from one rental house to another in P'cola in August, and now we're moving to NC in August. Oh joy!
Mr. Jetplane will be at survival school for 3 weeks prior to our move, so I'll be managing the majority of it... UGH.
But we're moving, and I'm very excited. I feel like our married life will now be able to officially start. I know that might sound weird since we'll be celebrating 1 year of marriage in June. But its true, that's how I feel.
Eight more days till he's home. Can't wait!!
*Yes his shirt says Steel Erection, he's a dork like that, but I still love him. And those necklaces were to show we were part of a winging party and got free drinks.

Good luck on the move! I'm currently going through the planning and prepareing part of it atleast until April when I can actually get more done. We move to TX in May! NC is a very pretty state, I'm from SC but have been to NC a good bit...I love it!
What part of Carolina? FUN!
Oh gosh. I remember moving into dorms and apartments in Florida in the middle of August. Not fun at all!! Good luck!! And I am so excited for you to be "married"!!!!
You'll be close to me :-) We're going to be in Georgia and moving in July (that already gives me the heebee geebies) and then if things go as planned we'll be in North Carolina for about 2 years.

Haha his shirt was the first thing I noticed when I looked at this post. No worries--mine has one that says...*gentlemen prefer tig ole bitties*...Nothing like some R Kelly on a tshirt.

congrats on the moving plans!! I am sure it will all work out.. plenty of liquids and breaks! What part of NC? I used to live in Greenville, about 1.5 hours from the beach- I LOVED it!
I think you will love NC! I'm from PA..and moved to CA...and we are actually trying to move back east... you can actually purchase a house back east...versus those dreaded Los Angeles prices!! another chapter in your life! Have fun!!

I hate moving, and I would require something sparkly or a nice piece of clothing if I had to do it myself...not to put any ideas in your head... ;-)
Hard to feel bad for you for moving from one warm temperature place to another. Come to Cleveland and see what i mean.
Just realized that I have previously listed moving as one of the worst possible things to happen to anyone ever.
So I retract my previous comment and now extend sympathy.
