Is anyone else living in Mustache March???

Fighter squadrons and other aviators grow mustaches throughout the month of March. Yes you read that correctly, my sexy hubby is growing a dirty nasty stache right now. I warned him that I will not kiss him or do anything else (wink wink). Facial hair irritates my skin and I find it totally gross....
Why would you a cutie patootie grow a nasty, child molester, stache.
This is a picture from our Honeymoon in Punta Cana. We stayed at the Excellence Club. We loved it.
When I was in college I dated a guy for quite a long time, Mr. Baseball let's call him. One summer he spent the summer in the woods of Northern Washington State working in a national forest. And during this time he decided he would not shave. When we both got back to school he showed up at my house with a full on beard, I was totally disgusted. I told him that I would come over to his new apt later that night for a little catch up (if you know what I mean) but that the nasty facial hair had to be gone. Well I showed up, and he had made the bread into a even grosser goatee. I kindly told him that I would not kiss him or anything else if he didn't shave... He thought I was joking. After 20 minutes, he realized that I wasn't and he shaved it all off within a matter of minutes.
This let's you know how much I truly hate facial hair....

Mark did the same thing over block leave and mustache march last year. I tried to tell him I wouldn't shave for as long as he wouldn't but that would just gross me out way quicker than it would him. I was almost in tears I hated the facial hair so much. It was uncomfortable to kiss and he looked unkempt.
The Marine's don't do Mustache March, but a lot of them do "Deployment Staches"...yuck! I told Mr. Marine he could do what he wanted when he was in Iraq, but it better be shaved off when he steps of the bus to meet me!
armor guys do the same thing before they redeploy. i told my hubby i would not kiss him with a porn star 'stache. he shaved before he got on the plane home :)

I hate facial hair but Mr. Guru decides to go in spurts throughout the year. It drives me crazy!
I too hate facial hair. I had an ex boyfriend who would not shave his face during deer season (he was a huge hunter...I hated it). He kept a beard until he shot his buck. Lets just say we are no longer together ;)

And yeah, I hear ya on that. I hate facial hair. During R&R my hubby kept insisting on growing a beard and I kept telling him - sweetie! Asians can't grow beards! It came out and grew in sporadically --- ugh. Just a BIG BIG no-no.

flyboy only grows one when he's in the sandbox. thankfully. i like you, hate the stache. its just icky.
Ahhh.. good ole Mustache March. It was a long month last year and Nick's stache was just in time for two visits from family (including Easter). That stache ruined a bunch of great photos. Ha. My aunt actually framed one and gave it to me for my bridal shower. I was just like, I will not be hanging that one anytime soon.
The worst was when Nick taught hang-gliding in the Outer Banks for a summer during college. The last month he was there all the instructors all grew full beards. It was sick. My dad and stepdad have always had beards, but Nick's was like a serial killer gone mad. Totally unkempt–awful.
My boyfriend did this once for $50. It was horrific. Trust me. Some of the pics are so awful they would possibly be banned from the internet!

Cute pic of you two! I've never heard of the mustasche thing before, but I agree about having him shave it. I'm not a huge fan of facial hair, but hubs gets an itch and tries it out from time to time.
Yes! My husband's squadron is doing this, and the mustaches look so ridiculous! (Thankfully, my husband is not participating.)
