Puppy Love

I am a total dog person. But, while growing up, we lived in the "country" and we had cats, but outside cats only. They kept the mouse population under control.
But now, on my own, I'm most definitely a dog person. Cats are way too independent for me. Dogs need you, they are so excited when you come home from work, and I love them for that.
As I've said earlier, Brent and I have 2 dogs. I have a 5 year old pug, Milo and "he" has a 1 year old American Bulldog Charlie. We're quite a family, and with Brent gone I get the pleasure of tending to them both. I love them dearly, but together they are a handful. They pick on each other constantly and Milo bites Charlie. I think Charlie likes it for some unknown reason.
Anyway, this past weekend we took them to the vet. Charlie's incision from his stomach surgery (dog likes to eat things he shouldn't.... another EXPENSIVE story) was looking a little weird to me and I wanted to get it checked out and well my lil Milo is allergic to living in Florida (at least that's my diagnosis). Point of the story is, when I was waiting to check out at Banfield (Vet inside Petsmart... great Vets there, highly recommend. I loved the ones in Indy and P'cola) a couple pushed a cart by me with 2 lil baby pug puppies.... Ben and Jerry... OMG I had to see them. I love puggie puppies and Brent had to pull me away from them.
I'll be honest, I didn't want Charlie but I love him. I wanted another pug, Brent said he wanted a bigger dog (even though he admits Milo thinks he is a big dog).
(Brent and Milo taking a nap on the floor in my old apartment.)
Here are a couple of pics of our boys when they we're younger... Memories.... like the corner of my mind....
Charlie's 1st day home at our old house. Look at those feet.
