Fellow Travelers
When the Hubby's away.....
So this weekend between the rain and tornado warnings, I went shopping and found some great buys.
1. Found some great frames that were all 15% off. I thought it was high time that I put up some of our pictures.
2. I bought a new comforter for the guest bedroom. Brent decided to take his horrible duvet with him to training so the guest bed was bare, so I decided to get a replacement. I got a great bedding set from TJ Maxx on clearance for $29. The guest bedroom is definitely a work in progress. We're going for a beach theme, its coming together slowly....
3. I found some great drapes for the living/dining room. They are from Target but look a lot like the $49 per panel ones at Pier One that I couldn't get myself to buy. These were only $24 per panel and I love them.
4. But my most favorite thing is the piece of artwork that I bought from TJ Maxx. I've been looking for something to fill the big empty wall in the dining room, and I've finally found it. I couldn't believe that it was only $49.99. Holla!!!
Here is my pic that came with my package from the photographer. The frame she put it in was kinda cheap, but it will do for a while. I love the picture, eventhough its not perfectly spaced. I put it on a nail that was already in the wall. I'll fix it later but its up right now in the hallway between the 3rd and 4th bedroom.
And finally a pic of the boys during the storm. Milo was being crazy and got in trouble. He got put in Charlie's room and it totally freaked Charlie out. He couldn't figure out why Milo was in his room and wanted him out of it. (You can see my new drapes in the pic as well....)
