Is It Wrong??

That I can't wait to move to North Carolina and be with other wives/women (get to make friends again) and get the opportunity to host dinner parties and/or showers/and/or get-togethers?

I swoon over parties and really miss planning my own wedding. I severly suffered from post-wedding blues.

And when I see an adorable Baby Showers like this it takes my love of party planning and desire to get to plan something to a whole new level.... I'm getting the shakes.. I need to plan something...

How freaking adorable is this...

The very talented ladies at Lollipop Events & Designs are responsible for this adorable B-themed Baby Shower.

It was featured on one of my favorite blogs Hostess with the Mostess yesterday.

Enjoy...

I was looking so forward to Vegas for this very reason. However, I haven't connected with the spouses (let's be honest, mostly wives) here the way I thought I would or the way I did in Mississippi. My MS friends will be some of my friends forever. I miss them so much. It has been really frustrating. I've heard fighter communities are TIGHT though, so I'm sure you'll be golden once you get to NC!

Oh and ps: post-wedding blues in full force here! Hence the long, long absence from my blog.

Haha, its nice to know I'm not the only one out there who feels like that! People thought I was crazy but I LOVED every second on planning my wedding even though I had less than 2 months to do it. I love hosting parties and planning events.

That is one thing I look forward to one day about moving to post...if the Army will ever give DH some accompanied orders of course. But that's not happening for the forseable future :(

Nope totally understand. Once I started making friends in Atlanta when I first moved here I was excited for this very reason.

I love throwing dinner parties, and I often wonder if when we leave Atlanta someday I will find friends I like as much as the ones here.

I like when I see a party with fantastic decorations! (and, also, when I see my name with a link underneath your photos I silently think you like me just a little bit more than the others ;])
